Borrowing from ISI Library

The Central Library of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata lends books and journals to local, regional, national, and overseas libraries & research institutes, but not to individuals.

Materials Not Available for Loan

• Rare documents and reference materials
• Loose issues of periodicals
• Materials deemed improper to lend by the Library

Borrowing from Other Libraries

The ISI Library can borrow materials from other libraries for items not available in its collection. This service is free for ISI students, faculty, and staff. Please consult the Chief Librarian or Deputy Librarian (Circulation) for assistance.
